The location was perfect. We wanted to visit Slovenia for Kayaking and Trieste for sight seeing and swimming. The hosts were attentive and gave us great tips for restaurants. They have a dog and a cat so it helps to be animal friendly. Breakfast in the garden is something to remember. We communicated by hand and foot as my wife is German and I am English but could not speak Italian, which was a shame as they are an interesting couple.

The hosts were kind, friendly and very helpful. They speak very good English. The breakfast was outstanding. The location was great. It's just a couple of minutes from the town centre by car and there are also a number of places to eat in the area around the B&B if you don't want to go into town.

We had a whole apartment at our disposal with kitchen, sitting area, dining area and terrace. This was particularly helpful in view of the bad weather which meant we could buy food in a supermarket and eat it in our lovely apartment. Everything was spotless. We awoke to a lovely breakfast already laid up for us. Gianna was charming; saw that we had what we needed and left us to our own devices.

We really liked the contact with the hosts, they are so friendly and welcoming! Even though we didn't speak Italian and they didn't speak English, we made it work quite easily. As soon as we struggled to communicate they pulled out a tablet with Google translate, which we used to communicate - that's what technology is for right! Other than this we very much liked the room (very big), the onsite parking and of course the breakfast :-) It was a great stay, would return!

The room was a beautifully decorated apartment. Correne and Joshua asked what type of breakfast we preferred and it was perfect! There was an outdoor patio to sit out in. It felt like a very homey comfortable place after 3 weeks of hiking the Alpe Adria Trail. Highly recommend to others!
