The accommodation is a beautiful Italian style farm house in the hills. When you are there every angle and spot you look at is beautiful, from the kitchen to the breakfast courtyard to all the fruit trees surrounding the home. To get to the accommodation is a trek but it is a part of the charm of the accommodation. The breakfast was charming and Enzo, the host was always up and ready to make us an espresso. The location is great to visit Portofino on foot and there are e-bikes for rent to easily travel back to Santa Margarita This has been our favourite accommodation on our Italian trip to date.

We absolutely loved sitting on the patio with a (10€!!) bottle of wine and the best view in town. The place is cozy and we felt very welcome. Situated overlooking the ocean with a beautiful view and a private area with different levels of the “mountain” with sun beds where you can order drinks etc during high season and a small private beach. - Beautiful! - Very friendly staff and a really good breakfast that had the essentials of a hotel breakfast. I really liked that you could order a fewer hot dishes like scrambled and omelette vs having it on heating and potential waste.

There is one entrance from below and a better pedestrian walkway from above, around a 5 minute walk to the centre of town. Lovely private terrace and bar over a small pebble public beach, not busy even on cruise ship days and very quiet at night and in the morning. Great service and good breakfast buffet.
