Peaceful setting; great views; superb food; good selection of drinks available; pool; everything was well maintained, clean; owners were excellent. Perfect place to enjoy Tuscan countryside.

The place is owned and managed by a wonderful couple, Laura and Giuseppe (Beppe). Rooms were sparkling clean and cleaned every day. Breakfast was freshly made every morning with fantastic orange croissants and home made plum and orange marmalade on top of prosciutto, cheese, eggs, tomatoes, and home baked cakes. Coffee was also excellent. Breakfast was served outside, in beautiful surroundings of the garden. It was also possible to order dinner at Bellavista, which we did three times, and every time Laura prepared absolutely amazing typical Tuscan food, such as testaroli with pesto, wild boar ragu, chicken in lemon cream sauce, sheep cheese and many other delicacies. We had it served with Cabernet Sauvignon wine from the Querceto winery. Great place to visit some super tuscan wineries such as the famous Bolgheri. Also very close to Bellavista is the beautiful town of Volterra, the beautiful view of which we could also admire from our room window and from the garden. Laura and Giuseppe can also recommend places worth visiting based on individual preferences of their guests, and are extremely helpful in organising tours or visits that require previous reservation. The best place we have ever visited in Tuscany, the hotel, the hosts and the surroundings. Definitely worth coming back.

This is a lovely little house just outside the Walls of Volterra. Very clean, comfortable, spacious and tranquil yet within a 10 minute walk to the town centre. Incredible value too!

Beautiful breakfast place, extremely beautiful garden. Room is spacious and bed is comfortable. Apartment is quiet and accessable (great localization).

Great value for money stay in the center of Volterra. The apartment is in walking distance to so many attractions and restaurants and is very central. The hosts are so polite and check in is very smooth. They even allowed us to store our bikes in their internal storage room which was nice.

The location was too good to be true - set on a quiet street in the center of Volterra. The apartment was as described, very clean, quiet and comfortable.

Contact with the host/owner was done by WhatsApp which was fine since we were travelling and arrived around 10pm. Room was perfect. Location excellent. Parking, just as the host/owner said.
