We had a great one night stay. The house is located in Ferno that is very closed to the airport. You can get there by train for 3eur. The walk from Ferno station to the house takes 15-20min. You can get to Milano Central from Ferno station for 5eur (2nd class). The owner is super friendly and helpful. He brought us to the airport, early in the morning for 20eur. The apartment was very big. It was situated in the home basement with windows. It was nice renovated and clean. There was a little drink fridge with some cold drinks like water, cola etc. (around 1eur each). It was very nice to have it especially when you arrive after a long trip and there is no shop on the way.

Francesca is a gracious and accommodating host with a comfortable, lovely home. our flight was delayed three hours putting us in to Milan after midnight. Francesca stayed up late to greet and orient is, and went out of her way to arrange a car to pick us up at the airport with her delightful friend. The room we stayed in had beds for 5 - was large with a nice bathroom and good shower. Francesca provided excellent coffee and croissants and helped us with some impromptu trip planning as it was raining! thank you for suggesting Pavia, it was an unexpected stop on our way to Cinque Terre and perfect way to start our trip w two teen!girls!
