The owner was really kind. Prior to arrival, she replied almost instantly to our messages. Upon arriving she showed us around and made us feel at home. She does not speak English fluently, but tried her best. The area is astonishing and is perfect if you want to relax. In the morning she made breakfast (very cute), to have a good start of the day. She accepts cash, and I am not sure if you can pay with card.

Lovely airy room right in the very center of the old town of Barga. A large balcony with an arch gave a beautiful view over the city and surrounding mountains, providing spectacular sunsets. The hotel and room were wonderful - it is the artist's former house and is a beautiful old house with several rooms. Ours was huge with a fridge coffee maker and silver ware to make it easy to have snacks and breakfast in the room. The location is perfect for exploring Barga. It was spotless and we loved exploring the galleries filled with the artist Cordati's works.

Great location for touring around the area by car. The views from the place are just stunning. Anna Maria is a great host. She went out of her way to help me try and arrange a visit to a nearby church and shared things from her garden and orchard.
