The warm and friendly welcome made us feel very much at home. The rural setting was peaceful and the animals were lovely. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat in beautiful countryside with the true local culture then this is the place to come. I will be visiting for longer next time!

Breakfast arrived in a basket - excellent. Castel Arquato is enchanting. We used public transport to get there from Piacenza and this worked well. Beautiful at night. Stradivarius restaurant staff fantastic!

The hosts were wondefully welcome to our family. Fresh food, eggs and smiles. There little farm was a wonder for our 2 year old who spent time everyday with the hosts feeding the animals. 20 minutes drive into Piacenza but on the doorstep of the Grazzono Visconti estate. Will stay again.
