Friendly staff, good breakfast, nice rooms. The location of the hotel is excellent, as it is only 150m-200m to the ski lift. They have also a ski storage room and ski boots heating. Recommended.

Attention to detail anticipated our every need and made everything super practical and easy to use. The hoste was on the same high level with friendliness, fast response and useful tips. Room is small, but very clean and comfortable with great balcony and view. Bathroom is bigger and tidy. Place is full of small details that made this place unique and unforgettable. Stuff is very frendly. Location excellent.

There was a swimming pool, which was amazing after days of hiking. Hotel has also spacious area around it. It was very clean and orginized.

Falkenau is in an excellent location with close access to the ski slopes in the area. Although we had a car, Falkenau is very near a train station so you could catch a train to the ski slopes . Ursula our host was warm and gracious, always ready with a smile. The rooms clean, quiet and spacious. Breakfast is definitely worth the extra cost. It was a sumptuous spread. Prepared by Ursula, our breakfast table was full of farm fresh, homemade produce including cured meats, cheese, home made bread, cereal yoghurt, stewed fruit, preserves, honey and delicate cakes. It is also worth having a look at the farm animals that Falkenau keeps.
