The staff were very sympathetic to us, they had always good advices on where to eat and what to visit. The place was ultra clean, with some great and classy decorations. The room had every amenities you could need during your stay, and some extra (candies and tea). The bed was confortable. The breakfast was perfect, it was more on the sweet side, but as french, we enjoyed it to the fullest. There were some great and local products. The b&b is near Stresa (10 min by car). Amazing location. The staff is really kind and helpful and there was great and fast communication through Booking.com and WhatsApp. The room and bathroom were spotless. Also big plus for the rain shower. Would go visit this B&B again, if I ever get the chance.

Great place to spend a few days by the Lago Maggiore! The room has a terrace with beautiful views of the lake. Ingrid and Michiel were fabulous hosts and we made us feel at home. They advised us on things to do and recommended places to eat. The breakfast was good including cold cuts, cheeses, different jams, bread, juice and tea or coffee.

We stayed in Locanda Verbena only 1 night on our way to Stresa and the lake Maggiore. The room was very clean, the bathroom had all facilities, the bed was very comfy and the sheets so clean despite it is not a hotel. A typical Italian "locanda" with its local charm and a restaurant downstairs. The host was a very polite lady who spoke perfect English :). She served a nice Italian breakfast and tried to respond to all our requests and needs. I would recommend the place for its price and cleanliness.

Fantastic view on the Lake. It’s a lovely picturesque village on the mountain with very nice people. A supermarket is within five minutes by car. Great host!

The view from the terrace and the nature around cover some minor inconveniences. The apartments had everything necessary for life. The store is not close, but you can quickly go by car.
