The guesthouse owners, Paola and Alberto, were extremely friendly, every morning they asked us what we wanted to do that day and offered us tips for excursions. Also, they suggested a wonderful beach spot known only to the locals (Lake Mergozzo). And the breakfast served ... WOW!! ... extremely good (homemade bread and the cakes made by Paola were a wonder). The room, location, staff, services - and the view! - were all exceptional. I only wish we had been able to stay longer. In addition, I accidentally left some things behind and they were promptly sent on to my next stop. I couldn't possibly rate this property more highly and I thank Casa Rampolina's staff for going above and beyond the call of duty. I'm looking forward to returning for a longer stay on my next trip.
