Our stay at the Villa Casignano was Awesome ! Deeply nestled away in the Tuscany foothills just outside of Florence is this beautiful property. Tina and Maurizio were Amazing hosts. They went above and beyond in making sure are all our needs were met. Our daughters even got to experience the joy of feeding their horses and donkeys. Watching the sun rise and hearing the birds chirp was priceless. To top things off, they referred us to a Wonderful restaurant, Nuovo Ranch. Absolutely Superb ! Thank You for an Awesome stay. It was an amazing place. I liked the remote area from all the overcrowding, overwhelming goings-on at Florence, but it was only a short distance away. The host was very welcoming. Provided coffee/tea with biscuits (?) that she had made. Sat with us for breakfast. Made us feel like we were at a true friend's house. She is a local artist and had some of her work displayed. She offers an art class which I would love to do but we only had one night there. Hopefully, I can come back in the future. Would love to take the class and also explore the local area.

Barbara was a very hospitable host, very friendly and helpful. The view from the property of Florence and the Tuscan countryside was superb. The breakfast was excellent, with eggs from Barbara's hens and home made cake. The property was very clean with a modern bathroom and the beds were very comfortable. The place, a very well restored old typical house in Tuscany, made us feel comfortable, providing us with all necessary amenities for a good and relaxing vacation. Property location was exactly what we were looking for – a distant place from the downtown madness of Florence, but still a destination that allowed us to have a good walk straight into the city heart. Still there is a very convenient bus stop close to the property, that takes you directly into the remarkable sights of Florence. The breakfast was nice, full of fresh and quality local goods. The host was very polite and friendly, gave us good insights of the area and some tips for good local restaurants.

The room, as well as the bathroom that was for our exclusive use, was very comfortable and clean. We also had access to the kitchen and could make occasional meals during our stay. The building is located only 20 minutes away from the city centre by bus, and there are several bus stops (along with some nice pizzerias, and a supermarket) in the neighbourhood. Jonathan was always available to answer our questions. While very helpful and friendly, he was also very discreet, which is something we personally appreciated a lot.
