Alessandra is in a class of her own, a truly exceptional hostess. This was my fourth stay and my longest stay (a week). and I felt welcome and at home from the moment Alessandra greeted me at the port. Alicudi is a very special island: peaceful and unpretentious, a place where you can relax and be yourself. Alicudi Giardino dei Carrubi is gorgeous, the home-made cakes and yogurt are delicious for breakfast, and the view across to Filicudi (especially at sunrise and mid-afternoon) is spellbinding.

Our stay at Casa Mulino was perfect, the hotel owners are wonderful and very accommodating. The hotel itself is in the best location in the port area. The rooms were big and clean, and they offered an incredible view from the balcony. The room had air conditioning and a fan, which was amazing. There is a great beach just in front of the hotel, with very clear water. I highly recommend this hotel!
