Comfy beds and a modern room. The dinner was comfort food which is what you need in winter in Iceland. Breakfast was simple but perfectly adequate for the price. It's the perfect place to explore the Secret Lagoon nearby.

Place has so much character, loved all the great artwork throughout, beds were all super comfortable, plenty of space for 4 kids to enjoy. Host was very accommodating and helpful. Location was quiet and perfectly central to get to all the top locations to visit. I wouldn't hesitate to return.

We didn't meet the hosts (that live in the same place) but they made sure everything was prepared and clean at all times. The room and bathroom are both spacious and the view into the garden and woods was very relaxing. Breakfast is served in the community area as self-service from the fridge and had a good selection, too. The location is great to explore rhe golden circle.
