The room was big, with amazing view to the forest, lake and the sky! The breakfast was delicious, dinner little bit expensive but very tasty. The receptionist was a very nice girl, who congratulated us with engagement 😸 The private sauna was amazing and clean. Elsa was a great host, she received us even later than expected, showed us everything and even offered us homemade bread and more for breakfast. :) All in all, a very good experience that we can recommend!

Although breakfast was not included we were brought fresh bread in the morning and could help ourselves to a selection of jams and coffees. Nice little touch there. The location is perfect too. Not far from Egilsstaðir and close to Hengifoss. Finally, the cat jumped through the window and slept on our bed through the night. 😻😻😻
