Situated in Palolem, 80 metres from Palolem beach, Hilias Retreat boasts air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. The property has also been recently renovated.

We had the best time at Hilias retreat. The owners made us feel very welcomed and were very available and attentive to our needs. The room is super clean and located 2 minutes from the beach. Highly recommended!

Ruban is an excellent host and is taking care to contribute positively to the environment and community in Palolem both through his Eco development (which are good value for money) and his yoga teachings. I really enjoyed my stay here, I was worried about not having AC initially but the fan was fine as the temperature drops at night. I enjoyed the ease of waking up and taking only a few steps to the yoga shala to practice an Ashtanga style class lead by Ruban. His wife also makes amazing tea! The location is perfect, it’s literally on the beach (as in you are walking in sand) and a 2minute walk to the ocean, in fact you can hear the ocean at night without the fan on.

Firstly, the pictures don’t do it justice. It’s a little piece of paradise on the edge of Palolem, tucked away on sand walking paths with a less than 1 minute walk to the beach. You can hear the waves from the cottages as you are drifting to sleep. The staff are laidback, friendly and accommodating. The owners are very sweet as well. The bug net was perfect to cover the bed.

We really enjoyed the hut, the comfortable daybeds everywhere around the property and the relaxing atmosphere. The people working here are also just great.

The friendly staff were very accommodating and helpful and the location is great. The rooms are nice and clean and the a/c and ceiling fans guaranteed a restful sleep every time! We will definitely be booking with Palolem Guest House again next time!
