This was a gem of a place. We arrived after a long day of cycling and were quite tired and hungry. The setting was in a the quaint village of Union Hill and unfortunately the local pubs were not open for that day. Julie, the host, drove us to a nearby town for dinner, and picked us afterwards. She was also so kind as to throw our bike clothing into the wash. Her breakfast was fabulous with a great selection of items.

It is a very beautiful remote house, just outside of Skibbereen. The neighborhood is quiet and it’s generally a good place to stay.
