The stay was wonderfull.I would come back again. The room was well equiped, bath smaller, with shower, renovated. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice atmosphere like at home with family.Wonderfull irish breakfast. Great tea. I had for dinner Irish stew and fish and chips including good choice of beer. Both was tasty with good price. The best thing is that it was very Irish. We could feel the atmospehere of place and people that was very special and heaetwarming. Thank you for it.

Kate is an amazing, hospitable, and accommodating owner. She always checks in to see if you need anything or want a cup of tea, and will do everything within her power (and reason) to make your stay a comfortable and memorable one. Her fierce breakfasts are filling and wonderful, her stories are ear perking and interesting, and her attention to detail is spot-on. Lastly, your stay at the Hartley House wouldn't be complete without great company and craic. Through Kate, I've ended up taking adventures that I will never forget!!! Jessica was a great host, really welcoming and friendly. The place was a little tricky to find as there was no sign and the Eircode took me a couple of hundred yards too far, but a quick call to Jessica sorted it all. Very comfortable bed, and everything was spotless and fresh.

Second stay within a month and I can’t recommend this property enough! Spacious, clean rooms, comfortable beds, friendly hosts and a very good breakfast, all at a very reasonable price. Very good value for money! The location is a 20 minute walk from the center of Carrick-on-Shannon, perfect for exploring the beautiful Leitrim countryside. Highly recommended!

Very comfy bed, clean, and the host was easily reachable and very responsive. Great value for money if staying in Carrick for a night or two and it's right in the centre of town.
