The property is very charming and the host is just incredible. Catherine made us feel like old friends the minute we arrived. She is also very informative and personable. The room we had was comfortable and quiet. Parking is convenient just in the front of the house. What surprised us most was the incredible breakfast....superd cooking, plentiful and delicious. We booked Dun Ard for 2 nights so that se can visit Dungarvan and ride bikes along the Waterford Greenway. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate. Our hostesses were most hospitable and gave us other recommendations for rainy days. They made us a delicious breakfast.

This was one of the best places I have ever stayed at - a huge, clean, beautifully furnitured room and bath, with huge windows towards the countryside, with an exceptional breakfast and a very cosy host. If you are somewhere between Cork and Dublin and like nature and quietness, this is where you should stay!
