Clean and comfortable room with extras like bottled water in fridge. Convenient location in town centre, close to shops and cafes/bars. John the host was friendly, offered to collect us from the bus stop and showed us the best places to eat.

Aparte de pan, cereales, granola, leche y más básicos disponibles, la dueña nos ofreció yogur con frutas de primero, y unos huevos benedictinos inigualables, preparados por ella misma en el momento. La amabilidad y el trato de la dueña también fueron inmejorables. Sin duda, volveríamos a repetir una y mil veces en este alojamiento.

Breakfast was lovely! Little bit of everything. Bread was tasty and fresh, and cereals provided. Just an 8 min walk into the centre of Dungarvan. It was also located directly beside the Waterford Greenway, which I found ideal.

We booked Dun Ard for 2 nights so that se can visit Dungarvan and ride bikes along the Waterford Greenway. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate. Our hostesses were most hospitable and gave us other recommendations for rainy days. They made us a delicious breakfast.

This was one of the best places I have ever stayed at - a huge, clean, beautifully furnitured room and bath, with huge windows towards the countryside, with an exceptional breakfast and a very cosy host. If you are somewhere between Cork and Dublin and like nature and quietness, this is where you should stay!
