Ronnie and Armen were excellent hosts! They were super friendly and helpful in planning our visit to Cobh and the surrounding area. They have the most adorable golden doodles, George and Teddy, who are very friendly and cuddly. We were able to pet them and have great conversations with our hosts. Breakfast was amazing, there was nothing wanting and everything was prepared thoughtfully and to our taste; we could have sat in the breakfast room all morning! Parking was very easy. There were plenty of linens and towels for the room (which smelled amazing), and if we needed anything, our hosts were very obliging, asking questions to ensure our comfort. Would stay again and again!

The ferry is quite close, I took it to get to The Lodge from Cobh, €10. The renovations on this property are top of the line. The property is gated, you can call when you get there to be let in, and there is a kind of keyfob on with your room keys. I felt more like a queen there than I do in my fancy hotel tonight!

The location of this property is picturesque. The rooms are clean and well maintained and the highlight of the stay is definitely the scrumptious breakfast. The village of Crosshaven is walking distance from the property and the city of Cork is well connected by bus. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. My taxi to the airport did not arrive on time and the host dropped me to the airport in their car. I am very grateful to them for this kind gesture. A highly recommend stay.

The location was perfect for anyone wanting to be close to Cork without staying downtown. It was so easy to get to Douglas for some great dining options when we didn’t want to go back into Cork. The hosts were amazing, helpful, so fun to talk to, and very understanding when our flights got delayed and we got in late.
