The staff, the grounds, the food, the town! This was by far our favorite part of Croatia. The staff was very accommodating with our dog and with our special situation. They make you feel like you’re part of their family. I will have very fond memories of our stay there and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again! I know our dog definitely wants to visit again!

Only a 15-minute walk from Plitvice Lakes in Mukinje, the traditionally built Villa Knezevic offers authentic Lika-style accommodation made from stone and wood.

It was close to the entrance 2 to Plitvice Park, it had all the amenities we needed and we had a good sleep there. The people there were very nice to us and we had a lovely time.

We are so happy we stayed here! The property is a 12 minute walk from the Jezerce bus stop (1.5 hours from Zadar via Flixbus). Plitvice Lakes, entrance 2, is a 40 minute walk and there is a market that takes 20 minutes to walk to (we were fine without a car). The room is beautiful and immaculate with nice design features. The breakfast includes breads, cheeses, salami, cereal, fruits, yogurts and freshly made to order omelettes! We ate until we were full and prepared for a full day of hiking in the national park! The family that owns the property is so welcoming and friendly. They made a special night for us when they learned it was one of our birthdays.

The room was comfortable, clean and cosy. Nina was a great host. She was very helpful and kind. She even drove me to the Plitvice National Park and back. I will definately return to this beautiful part of Croatia and recommend the property to anyone who wants to visit the national park or its surroundings. The dinner was home cooked and delicious. Just a note though, carry cash in case you want to have dinner there, as being a small family owned business, the property does not accept credit cards.
