Beautiful, renovated and comfortable room in the heart of the city. The host is very communicative and went out of her way to welcome us and show us the room. The bathroom is amazing, everything works very well and we had super nice thoughtful touches throughout the studio. We had a very nice stay. The bus to the airport or port is right next door so extremely convenient for our early flight.

Szukając noclegu na Mathraki trafiłem na ten obiekt, ale niepokoiła mnie bardzo jego wysoka ocena (10/10!). Bałem się po prostu, że to fake... Ale przyjazd tutaj rozwiał moje wątpliwości - Nisaki Mathraki B&B NAPRAWDĘ ZASŁUGUJE na pełne 10! Co się na to składa? Przede wszystkim serdeczność gospodarzy, którzy w każdym momencie są gotowi ci pomóc lub po prostu uprzyjemnić pobyt. Ksenia przygotowuje wspaniałe śniadania, obfite i przepyszne. Chris dba o stronę techniczną pobytu, a oboje mają w sobie tyle ciepła i serdeczności, że masz wrażenie, że spędzasz czas z przyjaciółmi, a nie gospodarzami. A może właśnie był to zalążek dalszej przyjaźni? Bardzo byśmy chcieli. Kseniu, Chris - będziemy śledzić Wasze media i kibicować Wam z całych sił, by dalszy rozwój Mathraki był zgodny z Waszymi oczekiwaniami. No i mamy nadzieję, że wyspa nigdy nie zatraci swojej magii, uroku i odrobiny tajemniczości, jakie w niej odkryliśmy!

Great breakfast in a wonderful setting, cheerful staff to start the day right

The best ever view from the terrace. Spectacular!!! We were enjoying every minute of staying there, having our breakfasts and dinners on that terrace. It is very quiet place as well. For two adults it took us 6 min walk to the nearest beach. But it is downhill or uphill way. So could be not the best option for someone with disabilities!! The place is very clean and having its Greek climate. Equipment is basic, but we were having everything we needed (even small oven) to cook for ourselves for 6 days and to enjoy our stay there. It is 5 or less (again, uphill) min walk to the bus stop to go to Corfu center (1 h way by bus)or to the supermarket. You could also walk 20-25 min to nearest small market. It has basic things there, but a bit overpriced. So just better, take a bus, get to normal supermarket. We were going to Lidl which is close to green bus station at Corfu before going to our small village actually . Also downhill, in the beach, there are 3 tavernas you may have a breakfast or dinner at. For us it was much cheaper to cook and to stay at our own terrace with a view for breakfast or dinner. Maria and Janice, owners of the house are just lovely older people. Always willing to help or just to chat. Buy some detergents for dish washing (there is no dishwasher there) and sponges to clean on your way there, or ask Maria as you may not find it there. That was our only "trouble" we had over the week. Wonderful, great place for a quiet and relaxed vacation. Feels like you belong there and leave there for a long time after just a week of staying.

It was very clean, easy to go to the port, the noise of the planes is not a problem but is very nice to see them so close from there.

Elena was extremely friendly, and her breakfasts were always a fantastic way to start the day before heading out to explore the island. The location is excellent, being very close to the airport. Renting a car is highly recommended, as there are free parking options nearby, and it puts you right in the heart of the island, ready to explore everything. The apartment itself was incredibly cozy and clean, including the bathroom, and we felt very comfortable during our stay. The sight of the planes flying by was really cool to watch :) A big thank you to Elena for the amazing stay. Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to say a proper goodbye as we had to leave early today. Wishing you all the best!
