Outstanding B&B and not to be missed. It's an old world building in great order with loads of character. Stayed in one room for two nights and another for a third night (I had to come back!). Great size en-suite rooms. Fabulous breakfast with great choice. A stones throw from Cockermouth and a gateway to the Lake District from the north (which is now my preferred option). Great value for money. Di and Rob were wonderful hosts, nothing was too much trouble and I'm planning my return to Osborne House already!

I stayed at Armidale while visiting family nearby. Sue and Fred were fantastic hosts, they really made me feel welcome and looked after. The breakfast was cooked to order and really set me up nicely for the day :-) My room was lovely and the B&B in general has a very warm and friendly atmosphere. I would definitely stay with them again.

Peter and Judith provided us with a wonderful welcome, the room was very comfortable, the breakfast choice was exceptional and the bonus on top of all this is the view, which is something unique to this property. The meticulous presentation of everything is a mark of this guest house.

Lovely smart, clean and fabulous place to stay. Fantastic breakfast (also mushrooms, tomatoes and black pudding that aren’t in my photo) served beautifully and with first class service. All the employees I came across were delightful and were very accommodating.Also a gorgeous location just off the Harbour, which luckily I had a spectacular view of.

Very welcoming upon arrival. The hosts are very friendly. Breakfast and evening meal was excellent. Would definitely stay there again. Ideal location for Cockermouth and Keswick.
