the receiving of my stay was very warm. Clear explanation of how to get in or out of the entrance, directions to the nearest pub, and help with luggage. Once settled, was shown where to indicate breakfast options and if not available some could be dropped off to the room. On leaving, the staff went above and beyond to point me to the bus stop and see me on my way.

A stunning location for a very quaint,clean and pretty place to stay. The room was so beautiful and the breakfast super tasty. Gorgeous walks up and down the canal. Sid was very helpful with suggestions on things to see and do also.

Kestrel Inn is well-sited and overlooks the scenic Cwmdu valley. The Inn and its rooms are clean, warm and comfortable, and the owners are welcoming with much-needed advice on places to visit and things to do. Breakfast was cooked by the owners, which we appreciated greatly, and dinners were found in the historic village of Crickhowell, which is only a 6 minute drive away. The Inn is well-placed to explore Brecon Beacons National Park by car or bicycle, with quiet country lanes starting literally over the road.

We loved everything of this place! Kind people, delicious breakfast, beautiful house and nice and clean room. There is also a fridge with jugs of milk (even not diary if you ask) to bring up to your room. David and his wife (sorry, I do not remember the name) are really great people and gave us a lot of very helpful suggestions to visit the area. For sure I would come back here and suggest this Guest House to everyone.

This Inn has the perfect location for discovering Brecon Beacons. It is very conveniently located, making it easy to access hikes, to visit local restaurants and pubs. But what stood out the most is the hospitality received from Gail; throughout our stay, she went above and beyond to help make our stay perfect.
