Really gorgious guesthouse. I stayed just one night but fully enjoyed my stay. Very clean, new and comfy rooms, friendly staff, nice and tasty continental breakfast. Plenty of walk around in beautiful area. 5 minutes to Tain center. Loved it and hopefully will visit again.

Lovely quiet self contained apartment, welll set out, comfy bed , sofa and even a coffe machine. Everything you could need and more. Super host and stay.

I stayed in the small separate cottage right next door. That’s the cats pajamas. Was my local back in the eighties ..felt good to be back. My compliments to the chef for that spicy salmon dish.

Edward and Marelle were so accommodating and so friendly. The breakfast was delicious and more than expected. They went above and beyond to make our stay as good as possible, even letting my husband borrow a tie and some clothes when the airline delivered his luggage a day late. The room was spacious and clean and fresh towels were provided every day, which was a nice touch. We truly enjoyed our 5 night stay and would recommend this bed and breakfast to everyone.

what a breathe of fresh air this place is! The country scene opens up as you drive in and there is Clashmore Wood, nestled into a grove of lovely landscaped trees and bushes and bounded by a small stream. The house is surrounded by large vistas of farm land and woods. Such a treat after many nights in different towns. Peaceful and quiet! The owners are a delight, so welcoming and genial. The bedroom, bathroom and adjacent sitting room are immaculate and very tastefully updated and decorated. The bathroom is large, with a roomy shower and plenty of hot water. Bed is comfy with fluffy pillows. Wifi is strong and there is even chocolate to be had- located in the sitting room fridge! Owners are attentive to details - in the three weeks we have been travelling ( in almost as many separate hotels, guesthouses and apartments) this is the first one to supply facecloths-which is standard back in Canada but obviously not here in Britain. Would love to visit again!
