From start to finish our hosts couldn’t do enough for us. After showing us to our beautiful room and explaining how to get inside should we be late returning from our evening celebration they checked we were having breakfast the following morning and booked a taxi to collect us that evening. We had a lovely chat with them and heard about what they had done since taking over the property a year ago. It felt so comfortable and friendly, having a couple of drinks in the bar with the locals, prior to going out. Breakfast was ample and beautifully cooked. And to cap it all………when we arrived home I realised we had forgotten to empty a couple of drawers. John the owner kindly arranged for the items to be sent on to us . We will definitely be returning. Thank you Rushcart Inn for a lovely stay.

Everything was great. Perfectly clean, nice staff, warm room, and amazing dinner at the pub. Only bla point is breakfast, they kindly GIFT a in bedroom continental bf, which is great and was very welcome, but i wd have loved to pay more and get a cooked one instead.

What a lovely place the Hideaway is. It's cosy the bed is comfortable. It had everything that we needed. My Husband said that you can see that a woman has decorated it because it had special touches

Our welcome to this warm and inviting Inn was wonderful. Staff are just lovely. Our dinner, and included breakfast, was delicious.The size of the poached eggs were huge, apparently “the Rolls Royce of eggs” and I’d believe it! The big, fluffy white bath towels were a bonus too😊We couldn’t fault our stay. Thank you Mark and co you’re doing a great job of looking after weary travellers.

More than world class hospitality, it was like family. We arrived very early in the morning after an overnight flight and were greeted with a warm smile and a key to our room which had been upgraded. That was quickly followed up with a lovely breakfast and beer. The grounds and view was so beautiful. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. We slept with the window open and there was zero noise from the street... so peaceful. I will absolutely stay here for future visits to this area.

Fantastic renovation of an historic Georgian property. Stephanie was extremely welcoming, room was very stylish and comfortable with lots of little extras like great choice of beverages, sweets, and fresh fruit. Breakfast was nicely cooked and served in dining area overlooking the walled garden.

The furnishings were nice and modern and the people managing the building are really nice and accommodating. Plenty of different options for what you need and a nice central location. Rooms are large and comfy genuinely a lovely place to stay :)
