We loved the location, as it allowed us to explore the island's most beautiful scenery, like The Storr, Quiraing, The Neist Point and Sligachan. They were all a short drive from the cottage. Portree was only 10 minutes down the road, which gave us access to food and drink in the evenings. The accommodation itself was warm, inviting and very comfortable with everything we wanted or needed at our disposal. It was a place, where we were happy to stay when the weather wasn’t great and we wanted to rest after exploring the island. We were well looked after during our stay with breakfast items provided, towels changed regularly as well as the bedding. All whilst maintaining the unfortunate necessity for social distancing due to covid. The biggest plus about the cottage, besides the great location and the accommodation itself, were the owners Fiona and Willie. They were exceptionally welcoming, friendly and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as enjoyable and safe as possible. We will definitely be coming back for another stay and cannot recommend The Old Nurses’ Cottage highly enough.

We had a lovely stay at Bellfield Skeabost Bridge. It was in a great central location with a lovely outlook. The bed was comfy and the shower was great, Emma provided gluten free snacks and breakfast options which was very thoughtful. She was very helpful and gave us some good dinner recommendations. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again if we ever go back to Skye.

Nice, silent location, beatiful view from house, good point to explore the island. Tidy room, very good breakfast, helpfull and gentle landlady, excellent price - service value. Recommend to everyone, who just likes to be in special and familiar place.

Fiona, the host, is a wondertul woman, very kind and always at your service for anything you need. The place is a beautiful house, carefully decorated and inspired on scottish highlands. Clean and confortable. Healthy and delicious breakfast, Fiona packed the leftovers from breakfast and made sandwiches for our journey. 100% recommended.

Amazing breakfast! The owners were super nice and have great recommendations! The place was close to the supermarket and 20 minutes on car to the turist attractions ... and there is a chance to see the northern lights

Kim was so warm and welcoming and was extra helpful in making us feel at home. The room was spacious and comfortable, clean and had all the amenities we needed. One night we could not book any restaurant so had a picnic in our room. Kim was so lovely in getting us plates, cutlery and a bottle opener. The house is not so far from Portree and a beautiful quite road.
