Location location location. And what simply lovely hosts. The main and real reason for staying, and returning once again in the future to stay, at Seaview were the warm and very hospitable hosts -- you don't find that many places these days with this special and very unusual personal touch. They were such fine people Martina and Brendan. We did not have a vehicle and their son Patrick dropped my daughter and I to a restaurant for dinner and Brendan took us all the way to the train station two towns away and stopped to allow me to pick up a gift from the gift shop. He provided onward travel suggestions and gave us a little tour with lots of quaint details on the way to the station. The room and bathroom was sumptuously comfortable. Breakfast excellent and as requested. Martina and Brendan have invested time and care in making sure every detail was just right from the welcoming cookies to where you might have your tea to little signs and notes on where things can be found. We had no real reason for visiting Rostrevor on our holiday in Northern Ireland in May 2022 but Seaview was in the the reason to visit. Peaceful, so beautiful and wonderful hospitality. Beautiful location, stunning view. Very stylish and welcoming with a tea light candle burning, perfect. Easy walking distance into town.

Great location on the water in small charming town. Walkable to really good restaurant the Kingfisher Bistro recommended by Jackie. Great breakfast and beautiful room overlooking the water. Delightful stay. Definitely recommend.

Spectacular staff, amazing food and you can’t get a better location. Beds were very comfortable and water was hot, breakfast made to order and a great selection of fruit, yogurt toast and juice in addition to the main breakfast. The little extras give this place have a special charm that will stay in your memories forever.

Good quiet location, easy parking,very comfortable beds, generous sized room, spotlessly clean. Fabulous garden area with several seating areas to relax (if your lucky with the weather which we were!) Wendy was so charming, nothing was too much trouble for her. Good choice of both cereals and cooked items for breakfast and freshly prepared to order. Just a little tip, if you do require gluten free breakfast options just drop her message in advance, it helps with her planning and prevents food being wasted. Would definitely recommend Grove House and hope to return there. Room 5 has lovely views of the garden and mountains.
