Darren and his wife were wonderful hosts, helpful, knowledgeable and polite and they gave us a ton of ideas for what to do in the area, restaurants, pubs, local buses, etc. Breakfast both days exceeded expectations. A very varied menu and delicious food. We were certainly not hungry for lunch after such a spread. Top notch b&b, thank you both!

Up on arrival we about half an hour early the weather was awful. We rang the bell and were allowed to go to our room right away. First impressions of the room was wow. Beautiful modernised clean room. Checking the place out, we found milk in the fridge along with goodies and drinks. Coffee maker (win win) kettle and complementary biscuits. There was more than we could have expected. The shower gel shampoo and handwash... Oh my goodness they smell absolute devine. Breakfast was perfect, lots of choice we ended up having the full English both days. All in all couldn't fault the place. Quiet beautiful scenery great hosts. Will definitely be back

Really nice touches like Brownies waiting for you and fresh milk for tea in the refrigerator. Could check in on the way to finishing teh C2C walk and leave some of my pack items in the room. Helpful with best food options in town and directions.

Everything! The location was perfect. A beautiful very comfortable stay. The breakfast was outstanding as was the host. We would certainly return :-)

Lovely property, our room was lovely, comfortable and extremely clean. The owners were very accommodating and very nice. The breakfast was 10/10 both mornings.

Highly recommended! Conveniently located to explore the whole coast - RHB can be reached with a short walk, and the bus stopping just in front of the hotel will bring you to other tourists' hotspot (Whitby, Scarborough). Our room was large and comfortable and nicely decorated, and the food was great (menu rich and varied). The staff was very friendly and helpful.
