Felt like a home not an impersonal hotel. All requests were attended to by Chris who was the perfect host. The location was excellent, about a 10 minute walk from the main square. Highly recommended.

Greeted by our lovely host on arrival and gave us some great advice on where to eat. Room lovely and clean with a nice comfortable bed and good hot power shower. Exactly what we needed for a night stay. Excellent value compared to other places.

We loved staying at Bootmenders! Thank you, Jenna, for making us feel so welcome in your beautiful cottage and for providing the most delicious breakfast, especially the hot cross buns for Easter! Bootmenders was exactly as we had hoped it would be - a homely, cozy cottage surrounded by a lovely winter’s garden. The main room was warm, the bed was very comfortable and the little kitchen was well appointed for preparing our breakfast.

Great decor, comfy beds and a really quaint, quirky stay. Rooms were very clean, and snacks available in the room (for a charge). Easy to check in and out, and a lovely breaksfast the next morning,

Beautifully decorated hotel. Family room was amazing both cosy and modern. Bathrooms were luxurious. Lovely selection of teas in the rooms with large tea cup ! We loved that the beer garden was in full sun, close to the family room and with views of field. The village is beautiful and peaceful which is what we were looking for. Staff was super friendly. Breakfast was great ! We have a wonderful time!
