The welcome by the owners was second to none. Everything was catered for and thought of. The bedroom was lovely and big with a wonderful aspect out over the gardens and the farm fields. Breakfast was superb with more choice than we could have dreamed, cooked to perfection and served by the owner. We could not fault this place and will be looking forward to returning soon.

2nd visit here enjoyed it last August.will book again next year 2023..Dave and Pauline are lovely hosts.we felt home from home.idylic spot.lovely breakfast.lots to see and do in surounding area.lovely evening meals at the three wheats pub 5 min walk away.

What was not to like. Greeted with Coffee and cake. Room had great views over village. Good size, lovely comfortable bed, shower good, very clean and quality shower gels etc. plenty of wardrobe/ drawer space for clothes. Breakfast excellent, fresh local and tasteful products for cooked varieties, granola, figs, dates, fruits, yoghurt etc. Cooked breakfast was done fresh everyday. All in would recommend and definitely stay here again

Lou and Shaun were incredible hosts and the place was incredibly surprising - a wonderful Northumberland farm experience and the biggest B&B room we have stayed in. There is so much history to the place and a visit to Cragside is a must do to complement the Cragend farm experience. Can not rate this place or the hosts highly enough.

beautiful, historical hotel with immaculate hostel rooms. downstairs pub and dining area, plus upstairs tv room/seating area for guests. just a gorgeous building !

Room was big, great view out onto the fields, extra chairs for watching television/reading, comfortable bed, very nice shower, small refrigerator with milk, variety of instant coffee and other drinks, some small eats, very quiet, great place. Close to small town for eating and 20 minute drive from castle
