This charming B&B is set in the quaint village of Metheringham, 15 minutes’ drive from the centre of Lincoln. It offers cosy accommodation with free WiFi, full English breakfasts and a traditional pub serving homemade meals.

Room was in a small mews at rear of the Inn, with parking & private access. Good size with excellent facilities throughout. A lovely breakfast was included in the price & there was a good choice available. Evening meals were of a very good quality & reasonable price. Friendly & welcoming.

Beer was good and the bar staff friendly and attentive. Evening meals were limited to pizzas, (weekend only? I don't know) but they were homemade, bespoke pizzas, and really good. My wife wanted one without cheese, due to an intolerance, no problem! And a very good freshly cooked to order breakfast, using fresh local ingredients.

The room was a good size, with a comfortable bed and everything we needed. We ate at the pub both nights and the food was excellent. It was a great breakfast as well. Pippa was a great hostess and was always around to help.

And only a 10 minute walk to the village with shops and plenty of places to eat. Try Mirchi, the Indian restaurant! All the caravans have a view of the beautiful fishing lake with private parking next to them. Ours was spotless throughout and the beds super comfy. If you want to get away for some peace and quiet then we would highly recommend staying here. We're definitely coming back.

Good quality wooden furniture & a very comfortable bed with a lovely bedframe. Excellent breakfast & quickly served. The b& b is separate from, & round the back of the Lincolnshire poacher in a quiet courtyard with tables, seating & parasols for the use of guests.
