Everything from the welcome on arrival to the room. Lovely Edwardian house with lots of character. Use of a dining room and sitting room. The bed was so comfortable. The en-suite shower was powerful. The whole building very clean.

Chef Stuart made us a breakfast of which legends are born of, exceptional doesn't cover it. Phil the barman helped us with numbers for local take aways that delivered, the locals in the bar were full of chat and very friendly, making us feel right at home. The room was warm and very comfortable, and quiet, giving us a restful night. If I was in the area I would stay again.

The location is excellent, right in the middle of the holiday village of Thorpeness which is quaint, busy in the day and quiet at night. The restaurant is busy , though and worth booking. The rooms are lovely, very individual, well thought out and exceptionally clean, warm and welcoming. Tea and coffee facilities were good quality. The staff are truly lovely, friendly but not over friendly and the food was excellent. Their breakfast choices are wonderfully eclectic and locally sourced. We love this place and return regularly.

We really enjoyed our stay which was so relaxing. The house and the garden were beautiful, the room was clean and the full English breakfast was great. The village is very quiet and close to many nice places. The village pubs sever very nice meals. We highly recommended Mulleys Cottage.
