The owners were so friendly and kind to us. Gave us plenty of recommendations and tips during our stay. Breakfast was great and they even got my wife a little gift for her birthday. I would like to mention that the management couple would are the most humble, polite and happy humans I have met. Having stayed in thousands of hotels, hostels and B&B along with 25 years in hospitality , my overall thoughts are Burntisland house provides the perfect place for anyone working on contracts or attending the docks or Edinburgh for training. I’d also recommend this place if you like beautiful walks, as everyday I soaked up the see breeze along the coastal path to Aberdour. I would happily book another night , solely to meet the managers and see their progress within Burntisland hotel and sneak a wee walk 😁
