Room was spacious and had been completely renovated. It was great having 2 chairs and the TV was at a perfect height. Very good location. Hosts very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We highly recommend the Devonshire Villa.

Loved this place! Great hospitality, kind knowledgeable owners, super clean rooms that were beautifully decorated, and breakfast was gorgeous. The home couldn't be nicer, parking was a breeze, and Piper and Terence were so welcoming. We could only stay one night but highly recommend if you're passing through please plan a stay here, you won't be disappointed!!!

The breakfast was exceptional. My husband is vegetarian and was very happy to be offered vegetarian sausages (apart from the usual eggs, mushrooms etc). Besides the freshly cooked breakfast, Cairn house also have the cereal, fruit and yoghurts available. We're so grateful to have been upgraded to a better room that had a beautiful bay window overlooking the front of the house, with views of ilfracombe and distant sea views. The room was very spacious and obviously comfortable, as well as the bathroom.

Allison n Natalie were very helpful with tips and went out of the way to make packed sandwiches complete with orange juice , chocolate bars and bananas when we had to check out early . Facilities were excellent with a beautiful garden , a bar area with darts which we had fun and ample parking .

The Manor was very quiet when we stayed however in peak holiday times this could be an issue? The bedroom was a lovely size & the bed very comfy with lovely bedding, we slept very well & didn't hear any ghostly footsteps 👍. Plenty of hot water, the shower was great and heating available when needed. Nice enclosed space for our dog & private parking just outside the gates.TinaYoung couple
