Very cozy and welcoming. Thoroughly enjoyed my room. The breakfast and dining room were nice. The view of the garden was part of it. The garden room and sitting room were peaceful. Both owners couldn't have been nicer.

Room we got was considerable size and very tastefully decorated. Clean, all facilities needed or if asked for could get. Staff very friendly. Breakfast exceptional. Plenty of parking space and easy to get to . Location very good. Everything about the place, the breakfast and the people we liked. Everything was great and we definitely come back and stay again without a doubt!

Michelle and Mark are the perfect hosts with the highest of standards which shows in their spacious, spotlessly clean, self contained, private accommodation. The décor, bed and bathroom are more to the standard of a 4* luxury hotel than a private guest house. Everything from the luxury toiletries, USB sockets, free Wi-Fi, to the fresh fruit in the bowl and pint of milk in the fridge nothing has been missed. Sitting on your private terrace overlooking the garden and valley with a glass of wine listening to bird song and the distant whistle of the steam railway whilst being bathed in the sunshine of the setting sun is just perfect.

Everything about this was exactly what we were looking for. Great parking, dog friendly, close to the walks and a couple of towns, perfect. From the off the staff and regulars were welcoming, chatty & helpful. The room was clean, a good size and came with a great view of the hills. As for food, we ate there both nights - the 2nd night was steak night and did not disappoint - the wine selection was also good. The breakfasts were filling and set you up for a day of walking. The location is halfway down a hill looking picturesque in its setting and within walking distance are two other pubs allowing a small and quite satisfying pub crawl.

Amazing place, really close to Brontë Parsonage Museum. Really nice room with amazing view. Nice and friendly staff. Tasty breakfast.

Unique location and steeped in history. Room was exactly as advertised. Clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Building was full of character, staff were courteous and friendly, parking was easy. Had an amazing meal, steak was cooked to perfection which can always be hit and miss. Bar and food prices totally reasonable and in keeping with the area. Really good selection of beers. Only stayed a couple of nights with my son to attend a family event in the area but would definitely have been happy to extend my visit.
