The hosts are too kind! Gave me a lift to Hadrian's wall, did the laundry for me better than I ever could, helped me bring the luggage to the station so I could catch the train... That's too much work! Hope the best for you guys! Have a great trip to Paris!

Great location for walks and a lovely pub with delicious food down the road. The house itself was well-equipped and decorated nicely and to top it off, we were surprised with a card, bottle of wine and box of biscuits when we arrived!

It’s immense common area and the fact that there is a quiet room as well, let alone that it’s a former church or seems like one

A "boutique" style hotel that welcomes Hadrian’s Wall Path hikers! Yes that's right and good beer, good food and a comfortable room with possibly the best shower on Hadrian’s Wall. They also have hostel accommodation and are dog friendly. What's not to like.

Breakfast was very nice and Gary was very obliging.Room small but charming. Would benefit with two bedside tables or reading lights,a small fridge would be useful plus shower tray needed attention as black mould in the corner. Toiletries non existent. Decanter hand soap and shower gel only.
