Beer was good and the bar staff friendly and attentive. Evening meals were limited to pizzas, (weekend only? I don't know) but they were homemade, bespoke pizzas, and really good. My wife wanted one without cheese, due to an intolerance, no problem! And a very good freshly cooked to order breakfast, using fresh local ingredients.

Very nice location, rural as expected, in a well-kept village. Excellent full English breakfast with Lincolnshire sausages and very fresh eggs. Nice bar and restaurant area. Very big garden and outdoor dining space. Easy access to the rooms without going through the pub. Tea and biscuits in room. Generally a quiet, restful place. Close to Grantham and Lincoln by car.
