The host was very welcoming and friendly and gave us lots of tips about trips in the area. The beds were very comfortable and the whole feel of the place was cosy and homely. We had a peaceful and relaxing time and slept really well. The carrot cake in the cafe is the best I have ever tasted! The views from the bedrooms was delightful. Our highlights in the area were the evening walk from Craster to Dunstanburgh, Alnwick Castle and Bamburgh castle. We wished we could have stayed longer!

The owners were so welcoming and friendly, the room was immaculate and had lovely little extras like a coffee machine and sweets in the fridge! The bed was super comfy and the locally sourced breakfast delivered to our room was the perfect start to our day. We will definitely recommend Birdsong to our friends and family!

Great room with balcony overlooking fields and the sea beyond. Very clean and comfortable facilities. Freshly cooked breakfast was delicious and too big for me and there are so many options. The owners are lovely people who are very helpful. It is a 10 minute walk into town which is lovely as the house and grounds have a real sense of space and peace. I would definitely return

We loved the horses and views at The Stables! Our room was right beside the stables and we loved waking up to seeing the horses peak out from their stalls and in the fields each morning. Very comfortable room with kitchen facility and large bathroom.
