We loved staying at Bootmenders! Thank you, Jenna, for making us feel so welcome in your beautiful cottage and for providing the most delicious breakfast, especially the hot cross buns for Easter! Bootmenders was exactly as we had hoped it would be - a homely, cozy cottage surrounded by a lovely winter’s garden. The main room was warm, the bed was very comfortable and the little kitchen was well appointed for preparing our breakfast.

A glorious English country pub about an hour away from Heathrow, and very close to Jane Austen’s house. The whole place is thoroughly lovely. You expect Mr Darcy to ride into the pub yard any minute. it suited us completely. The nearby walks are really good. Also, I can’t remember a place where Lisa and I were so warmly welcomed by the locals.

Was just as noted on the site. Mike the Manger was very helpful and assisted me in all ways possible. Many times he took me into Town, (1 mile) since the bus route was discontinued. The room, bathroom and shower were as expected and the staff made sure to provide extra towels, etc. Ate supper there in the Pub several nights and the food was good and reasonable in price. The strongest point was the full English Breakfast prepare fresh every morning and set the tone for the day.

Absolutely stunning, so beautiful. The room was so pretty and comfortable. Tea and coffee available in the room and the most delicious breakfast in the morning, fresh fruit and pastries, cereals and then a cooked breakfast. Marjorie was wonderful who went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Her little 3 legged dog milo was just the cutest little friendly boy too.

The location is beautiful, quiet and a wonderfully kept garden. The breakfast was excellent and nothing was too much.

Chris was a great host, who made us feel very welcome. We were cycling and his place was perfectly located near the town with plenty of dinner options.

On this occasion booking, com had overbooked this hotel therefore we were disappointed not to stay as it really did look a lovely place.

A very nice and cozy apartment with underfloor heating, it was wow ;) It was very clean and we had everything we needed for our short trip. Zoe is a super host, I have never seen such a nice host like her. She brings you the breakfast in the room and she gets always sure that everything is fine and helps you if you need something. The breakfast was very tasty and the selection was very good. Thank you Zoe for having us there ;)

The staff are amazing. We stayed there before a family wedding in a nearby venue. Jane is so friendly and approachable and knows what I meant when I said at the bar I'll have a large glass of wine , it was a large glass. On the morning of the wedding we could not get a taxi to the wedding venue. when the staff heard this straight away, they picked up the phone and called a number of taxi service until they found one who would take us. We are so grateful and would definitely stay here again
