Yolandi and Jacques went above and beyond to provide a perfect stay in their charming B&B. The room was perfect with a very comfy bed & excellent facilities. Everywhere was spotless with the room being cleaned and tea/coffee/etc replaced each day. There were lots of added touches with little extras at the start and end of the stay and the hosts were even kind enough to leave a birthday card & present when they realised it was my birthday! The breakfast choice was wonderful, with everything cooked freshly and served quickly.

We stayed at The Devonian a number of times over the past years - our first time was in 2005, this August we spent 5 nights there on occasion of the Manx Grand Prix. We keep coming back because Kevin and Gillian run a most excellent guest house. They are very kind, welcoming and hospitable proprietors, who go out of their way to make you feel at home, together with their friendly support staff. The rooms are spotless and comfortable. The breakfast options are varied and cooked to order - we tried most of them (not all, as there are just too many choices for only a 5-night stay!) and all were simply delicious. We cannot recommend this guesthouse enough!

Went there to visit classic car event. The accommodation was in a good location and I could not fault anything. All I needed was there with friendly service and a good breakfast. Since breakfast begins at 7.30. I still got it before the morning flight back. I stayed in Room 2 at ' The Island ' and slept like a log. Breakfast was amazing. Location great.Very clean. Nice staff. Only problem I was very cold .Coming from a hot climate. 14c at night was freezing. But the heaters don't go on till later. I did get an extra blanket.
