On our amazing trip around Scotland for two and a half weeks, we also visited the Isle of Skye and stayed three days at Hazelbank B&B. We enjoyed our stay at this lovely place with the fine location in the northwest of the island and with a wonderful view from our room to the bay and the overwhelming mountains of Skye. Our very sweet hosts, Pam and Mark did everything to make us feel good and were extremely helpful. Very nice room and bathroom. Downstairs large dining room where we were served delicious breakfast with completely yellow eggs from their own chickens, which ran free around on the grass outside. Upstairs was also a lounge for stay and relaxation, where a special birdwatcher on a tripod could be used. We hope to visit this lovely place again. Lotte&Bjarne Arleth Nielsen Copenhagen, Denmark

Jane is the perfect host. The first question after we arrived: Would you like a tea or coffee? What a wonderful welcoming. The bed was big and very comfortable. The breakfast just delicious, with a large variation and really enough to bring you through the whole day. The house is remote, but it is very quite. Jane is a really nice women with a good sense of humor. We would recommend that B&B highly and stay there anytime again. Thank you so much Jane for these two wonderful nights. Claudia and Ralph

The Isle of Skye is a breathtaking place to visit and Carter's Rest was the perfect place to stay in. We spent two nights there and had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful, the location stunning, and to top it all off, the hosts, Simone and Jonathan are very warm, welcoming and cook delicious food!

The cottage has private rooms which share living spaces and the kitchen. Everyone had a private bathroom which was great. The living space were comfortable and big enough so you don’t have to engage with others if you don’t want to. The host was also lovely and responded to our wishes quickly. Stargazing was also possible on the porch. Definitely coming back!

We chose Kilmuir Park to spend three days in Skye. It was a wonderful experience. The lodging was convenient for all our day trips around the island. The bedroom and sitting room were comfortable, bathroom well appointed and breakfast delicious. Being the end of the season some local restaurants were closed but the helpful owners gave us suggestions and the meals were excellent. Also appreciated were the views from the lodging and the quiet of the neighborhood (such as it was). We look forward to returning the Kilmuir Park. Daniel and Linda
