The location and property are lovely . Breakfast was very good . The guest house was extremely clean and homely . Mr & Mrs Pooley were welcoming and friendly , they made sure our stay was good . I would definately stay again and recommend Smithy Lodge .

We also loved the restaurant; the food was delicious and the drinks were very reasonably priced. The building itself looks and feels high-end for a relatively cheap hotel stay, too.
