Location was perfect for a visit to Caerphilly castle and village. Availability of a private parking was a plus (no need to park on the side of the road). The owner was very kind and friendly and gave us good suggestions also for the following days of our trip across Wales. Really appreciated !!

A good, old-fashioned inn for an overnight stay. A bit dated but the essentials are all there. Good food in the pub.

I rate my stay with Derek at 11/10 because it was an extremely pleasant experience. Everything was prepared with great empathy and comfort. As an example, I can say that we haven't slept so well in a long time - the beds are extremely comfortable. Derek is a wonderful host and kind person. We will definitely stay with him next time.

Our host Lisa was very nice. Always up for a quick chat and happy to help or give some advice on what to do. She also makes a nice breakfast to order which gives a great start to the day! The rooms are spacious and have everything you need. The location is easy to reach and is only a 15 minute train ride from Cardiff city center.
