A warm welcome from the owners who went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. A very comfortable, spacious and quiet room with a clean modern bathroom. A good choice for breakfast and the quality of the food was excellent. A good location to visit Durham and the surrounding area.

Clean and well appointed. The check in was accomplished by the bartender at the connected Black Horse pub. He was very welcoming and helped us get to our rooms with our bags. The room and en-suite were clean and modern. Security was emphasized. Parking was behind the pub. The price was reasonable.
