Clean and well appointed. The check in was accomplished by the bartender at the connected Black Horse pub. He was very welcoming and helped us get to our rooms with our bags. The room and en-suite were clean and modern. Security was emphasized. Parking was behind the pub. The price was reasonable.

The accommodation is in a great location (you can literally see the trains stopping just at the back of the terrace, yet it’s super quiet, you can barely hear them, even with an open window). The room is nice, clean and tidy, the kitchen is fully equipped, the continental breakfast is varied, the check-in process was quick and straightforward. Highly recommended!

Friendly pub with very comfortable and smart bedrooms and enjoyable Thai food. Charming hosts. Very quiet. One of the few places I have stayed where the room temperature was just right. Very good shower. I didn't have breakfast as I ate at the places I was visiting.
