Our hostess was lovely and welcoming, the site is in a pleasant countryside region close to Colchester with beautiful walks all around. My son said the breakfast was good and the portions were definitely so. The building itself is atmospheric

Everything. Friendly, although not included in the accommodation the home pub cooking was generous, proper home made and set a new standard in fully packed meat pies! Plus yogurt and yummies left in the fridge, In the room. TV worked with out having to sign my life away. Shower was super good, towels folded into a round and tucked into them selves. Toilet paper left with a delicate fold. I could go on, but this place is well worth a bit extra. Lovey owners and great pub conversation.

Very clean the staff were exceptionally friendly and always there to help. The room was perfect for what I needed very comfortable and really nice little touches for example sewing kits and ironing board. Would very much recommend.
