La.maison est superbe et bien décoré, la chambre est belle silencieuse et confortable, les hôtes sont généreux et accueillants. On aurait dû réserver pour une semaine et pas une seule nuit... :) On reviendra sûrement

Breakfast was great. It included a lot of choices from toast and cereal to cooked bacon and eggs. The room was clean and well appointed. Larger than others we stayed in. The bath room was very clean and towels were thick and seemed like new. Plenty of bed covers for slightly chilly weather.

Very pleasant stay in this hotel, quiet location location a few miles away from Chatsworth house. Dinner and breakfast both excellent. Only the room was tiny for the price, but lovely and well equipped.

The View is in a location with the most beautiful views of the Peak Distirct. The accommodation is extremely comfortable and Lisa and Pete have thought of everything you could possible need and more. We were overwhelmed with the attention to detail. We've never stayed in a place that is as perfect as this in terms of facilities, cleanliness and comfort. I was born in the house many years ago and Pete spent a long time talking to us and showing us how brilliantly they had renovated their home. It was a very special visit for us so thank you Pete and Lisa. I hope we'll be back next time we are visiting from Australia.

Beautiful location, also very convenient when you don't have a car, close to several pubs, the shop and some great walks! Room was lovely, very clean and a comfortable bed. The host was fantastic, very helpful & friendly and we enjoyed hearing his stories over a lovely breakfast. Thank you for making our first visit to the Peak District memorable!

Staff were very welcoming. Food in the pub was fabulous we ate there both nights and there was a great and varied selection on the menu. Room was very comfortable and very clean and toiletries smelt amazing! Already looking to book again!

Beautiful, calm, and authentic peak district inn. Staff professional and friendly. Despite the pub downstairs, zero noise disturbance. Garden amazing.

The room was amazing! My view was perfect: to the town. Thanks a lot! Staff was very helpful and kind. Clean, quiet place. Perfect staying. I was travelling from Argentina and it was worth all the travelling up there. No regret at all.
