The cottage was equipped with everything you could need and more. Decorated simply but beautifully and very warm and cosy. The wood burner was a gorgeous touch which we loved having on at night with the feet up and a film on. Location was amazing. Situated in such a quaint little village with quick access to a stunning pebbled beach. Also super close to larger towns like Arbroath and short drive to Lunan Bay and other great locations.

St Vigean's is a lovely quiet hamlet, with an historic old church and a small museum with a brilliant display of local Pictish stones (only open a couple of days a week, definitely worth going). About 30 minutes walk to Arbroath, 40 to the harbour. Nature walks all around. Fridge and cupboard well-stocked with anything you could want for a continental breakfast.HelenYoung couple
