It was located in the centre of the village will all restaurants and pubs literally around it. It was super clean and the beds we delightful to lie in. The host is a proper chef the breakfast was a full 20/10!!

Excellent inn with very spacious rooms - biggest rooms we had all trip. We enjoyed eating dinner at their pub as well, and breakfast was included. Ample parking and they were also next to a petrol station and a McDonalds - off a main highway but we found the inn to and our rooms to be quiet and still felt like we were staying in a British inn with the style of the building, so it kept a nice ambiance.

The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was comfortable, spotlessly clean and thoughtfully done with extras such as dressing gowns and all bathroom toiletries. Location perfect for the town and the castle so car not required unless wanting to go further out. Lovely cooked breakfasts although a full choice offered if cereals etc are preferred Would highly recommend

Very welcoming host who is very attentive in looking after his guests. The property is spotless, and ideally located for a short stroll into Alnwick centre. Breakfast was copious and tasty, with fresh bread and croissants each day.
