The shepherds hut and the cabin are both fab. You have your own kitchen, bbq, lovely hot shower and get the best breakfast as well. Sarah is a brilliant host. Can’t recommend enough.

The whole feel about this hotel was incredible, Christmas time and the decs were perfect . Lovely lady behind the bar and on reception. Our room was perfect the bed was so comfy . We had a cocktail and was brought by out olives and crisps we didn’t even have to ask. Lovely place

Lovely room. The bed was super comfy and very big, also the facilities were excellent. The bathroom was so nice, I love the style of it all and the easy to use shower.

We had an amazing time staying at the Old Rectory. Liz (plus her two dogs and her cat) gave us a very warm welcome. The house - as the name says - is a 200 years old rectory, lovingly restored and tended by Liz and looking like a film set for a costume drama. The bedroom was very cosy (with a great selection of English literary classics!), breakfast - including eggs from Liz‘s chickens, which you might meet wandering on the road to the house - is served in a wood-panelled dining room.
